Policy Briefs

IMPACKT works directly with politicians and policymakers in an effort to bring academic research to the fore in crafting public policy in a way that remains evidence-driven and evidence-informed. The IMPACKT team has experience working with policymakers at all levels of government – EU, UK, the devolved nations and local government. Dr Dion Curry worked for two years as a policy consultant on various EU-level policies and projects, in areas including social policy, governance, children’s rights and vocational education and training. The whole IMPACKT team routinely engages in political and policy events and has contributed to Welsh, UK and EU-level government consultations on a range of issues, from Brexit to climate change.
